Hey.

My very conservative 12 yo. cousin from Georgia was in town this past week and at one point he decided to figure out who was going to win the election by adding up the electoral votes for each state with most southern states choosing mccain, most northern states picking obama, and the rest he picked by some other system (when I asked how he was deciding, he said "by being awesome") and when he finished adding them up he found out that Obama was gonna win, pretty handily. He was a little disappointed, but he just accepted it as true and then we started talking about baseball. So, just letting you know that if you do miss a post a day or two, don't worry about Obama.

I just got a job doing something I think you'd be really down for-

I'm a petitioner for a political activist group called Protect Colorados Future. It's hooked up with a larger grassroots-campagin group called Fieldworks. Check it all out at protectcoloradosfuture.org.

I get paid to stand outside of grocery stores and street corners (depending on the day) and talk to people about the issues and get them to sign so we can put then on the ballot.

It's the best job I've ever had....plus, I don't have to touch a single doughnut or plate of food....
